This was my opinion until I played Chaos Lineage, when Ruki randomly started being flirty, teasing Yui and talking to her with a sexy low voice. I used to think that even the writers didn’t know what to do with him, so they just kept writing about his devotion for Karlheinz instead. Same as Reiji, I’ve always admired his intelligence and strategic skills, but I couldn’t find anything else interesting about him. His character development was really interesting. I won’t lie, I wasn’t expecting that much when I first saw him, he looked more like a random character added just to make Carla shine more.īut his past and his controversial relationship with his brother, which is a mix of respect, devotion, fear and obsessive affection, got me really involved: it made me curious, I wanted to know more about his hidden feelings. I’m attracted to his smart brain and noble manners, but overall I can’t find him that interesting his inferiority complex makes him paranoid and what he did to his mother and Shuu can’t be justified. I want to hug him because he’s a pure soul who needs help, but I didn’t enjoy that much playing his routes, I can’t consider him boyfriend material. I know, he’s a sweet guy, but his slow talking makes me sleep. Most of his routes were painful, but at least he’s always interesting, I can’t predict his actions and his way of thinking is all over the place.Ĭhaos Lineage made a miracle anyway, somehow I felt connected to him thanks to his constant disgust of everyone and everything, which honestly is my mood in these past months. I did my best to find something good about him, but it was really hard: his hysteric screams pierced my ears and his obsessive yangire attitude makes him dangerous. I did my best to give him another chance in Lost Eden, where he was way more gentle, but I still can’t forgive him completely. I was hyped when I first saw him, but the terrible writing in Dark Fate ruined everything and I couldn’t bear the repeated violence and abuse towards the poor Yui. I pitied Yui, who seemed to consider the abuse normal to stay by his side. While playing Chaos Lineage I’ve been through that hell again and I couldn’t even bear his face or hear his voice anymore. I absolutely hated him in More Blood, but I admit his attitude eventually became decent or even cute in recent games but still, I can’t forget how he treated Yui at first. However, because SDK 3.1.401 requires MSBuild 16.7, we would like to raise the minimum discovered version of Mono. The lowest version of Mono discovered from user's machine is 6.4, because it ships with MSBuild 16.3, and MSBuild 16.3+ was needed to support. The reason is, OmniSharp runs on top of Mono, and if Mono is found on user's machine we use that instead of the minimal Mono that we ship with OmniSharp. At the moment this incompatibility breaks OmniSharp and the C# Extension for VS Code. Visual Studio 16.7 ships with MSBuild 16.7 already and 16.7 is the lowest MSBuild compatible with the latest.
